Responsibilities Work in the Emergency Department of a Level 1 Trauma Center 44-bed, state-of-the-art, spacious Emergency Department with dedicated behavioral health and fast-track areas Patient population includes trauma cases and medical emergencies requiring immediate attention Uses Epic for computerized charting and medication administration 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and 2 holiday shifts required Perform emergency care for patients with traumatic and urgent medical needs Pass / fail testing required, including telemetry / ECG and medication administration tests Spacious work environment with new imaging suites, pharmacy, private treatment rooms, and family consultation space Holiday coverage is required for at least 2 shifts Excessive time off requests, especially during holidays, will not be considered Scrub color is not specified Parking information may vary by location Requirements Active MA RN license in hand Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum of 2 years recent emergency department experience Level 1 trauma experience required Epic EMR experience required COVID vaccine and booster and annual flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed) Must live greater than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates allowed) Must be separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility for at least 6 months prior to consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-622878.
