Overview

Experienced Transactional Attorney - Columbus, Ohio. A well-established Columbus law firm is seeking an experienced transactional attorney to join its growing practice. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a diverse base of business clients on sophisticated matters while maintaining a balanced, team-oriented culture.

Base pay range

$120,000.00 / yr - $170,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

  • Focus on corporate and business transactions with a heavy emphasis on small to mid-market mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
  • Experience in real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, leasing, and related due diligence, is a significant plus for the practice mix.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Ohio Bar (or ability to waive in).
  • Minimum 3 years of transactional experience; 5-8+ years preferred.
  • Strong background in corporate and business law, particularly M&A transactions (buy- and sell-side).
  • Experience with entity formation, contract drafting and negotiation, financing, and general corporate governance.
  • Real estate transaction experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage transactions independently while collaborating with colleagues and clients.
