Overview

Experienced Transactional Attorney - Columbus, Ohio. A well-established Columbus law firm is seeking an experienced transactional attorney to join its growing practice. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a diverse base of business clients on sophisticated matters while maintaining a balanced, team-oriented culture.

Base pay range

$120,000.00 / yr - $170,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

Focus on corporate and business transactions with a heavy emphasis on small to mid-market mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
Experience in real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, leasing, and related due diligence, is a significant plus for the practice mix.

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Ohio Bar (or ability to waive in).

Minimum 3 years of transactional experience; 5-8+ years preferred.

Strong background in corporate and business law, particularly M&A transactions (buy- and sell-side).

Experience with entity formation, contract drafting and negotiation, financing, and general corporate governance.

Real estate transaction experience strongly preferred.

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to manage transactions independently while collaborating with colleagues and clients.
