Position Overview :
We are seeking Junior to Mid-Level Consultants with at least two (2) years of experience supporting Knowledge Management (KM) and Knowledge Transfer (KT) initiatives in the federal sector. The ideal candidate will support KM / KT engagements through project management assistance, client-facing interactions, development of deliverables, and facilitation activities. Work will often be performed under the guidance of more senior consultants but requires independent initiative and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities :
Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of Knowledge Management and Knowledge Transfer projects for federal clients.
Assist in the development of KM / KT materials , including process documentation, knowledge repositories, training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and communication plans.
Participate in and support client-facing meetings , briefings, and workshops, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Facilitate or co-facilitate KM / KT sessions, interviews, and knowledge capture activities.
Track and report project progress, risks, and issues to internal and client stakeholders.
Conduct research and contribute to the development of strategic KM / KT recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement knowledge-sharing frameworks, tools, and processes .
Support change management efforts to promote adoption of KM / KT solutions.
Basic Qualifications :
Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting KM / KT projects in a government or consulting environment.
Experience with project coordination or management support in a client-facing setting.
Proven ability to develop professional materials , such as reports, decks, SOPs, and job aids.
Strong facilitation or co-facilitation skills ; able to engage stakeholders effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams, or Confluence .
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working with federal agencies in a consulting role .
Knowledge of KM frameworks, methodologies, and best practices .
Exposure to change management principles .
Familiarity with knowledge capture and retention techniques .
Certification in Project Management (e.g., CAPM, PMP) or KM (e.g., CKM) is a plus but not required.
