About the role :

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Garner Health Intelligence team to help build and evolve our provider data insights. You'll work with our data scientists, data engineers, and product managers to improve the logic and systems we use to provide all of the data that powers our recommendations. We are hiring for roles on our Rankings and Directory teams. Rankings is responsible for cost and weighting systems, while our directory team is responsible for developing and maintaining an industry-leading understanding of physician and healthcare facilities across the U.S.

Where you will work :

This role will be based in our New York City office. You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

What you will do :

• Build and maintain data-driven algorithms, including both the latest AI and machine learning models as well as more commonsensical approaches, to improve provider recommendations and the member search experience
• Enhance Garner's understanding of the provider landscape by evaluating and integrating data from multiple sources
• Design scalable data pipelines that ingest, clean, and enrich healthcare provider data
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions

Compensation Transparency :

The target salary range for this position is : $100,000 - $120,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to : flexible PTO, Medical / Dental / Vision plan options, 401(k), Teladoc Health and more.
