A day in the life of an Associate Planner, Marketplace at Vans looks a little like this.

You will be empowered to create, communicate and execute strategic plans to drive financial results. Collaboration with Regional Merchandising, DTC + Wholesale Planning / Allocations and Inventory Planning teams as well as other cross functional business partners will position you to maximize sales and create inventory plans which will deliver turn targets and profitability.

You will provide analysis and follow through for business improvements related, but not limited to, shipping, inventory, SKU efficiency, systems, and process. Provide team with special reporting as required (i.e. 3 Year Plan, monthly demand for high volume / multiple delivery product lines, color blank requirements, forecast accuracy).

Lets break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

• Perform pre and in season planning activities including LRP, MFP and OTB by category / gender / channel / market
• Sales & Inventory Reporting Supports regional channel Merchants & Planners by gathering, analyzing, and consolidating sales, inventory, and replenishment data to identify trends and opportunities.
• OTB & Financial Support Assists in tracking and updating Open-to-Buy (OTB) budgets, monitoring inventory levels, and flagging potential risks or opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration Works closely with regional merchandising, commercial planning, allocation, and supply chain teams to ensure proper inventory distribution and replenishment.
• Utilize various qualitative and quantitative inputs to establish forecast for assigned product category.
• Analyze historical demand and current trends to inform future forecast and establish monthly seasonality. Based on product line forecast and additional statistical forecasting methods, prepare detailed forecast at style / color level.
• Execute product line and style level forecast by loading data into current forecast software to ensure correct product mix for purchasing.

Hiring Range : $57,888.00 USD - $72,360.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
