About The Position

Job Title : Ultrasound Tech

Shift : Night 5 days per week

Hours per Shift : 7.5 hours (00 : 00 - 08 : 00)

Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience preferred; will consider candidates with 3 years based on background

License : Valid state license required

Certifications : ARDMS required; ARDMS RVT preferred

Must-Have :

• Experience in adult, ER, pediatrics, and portable ultrasound settings
• Competence in fetal, general, and vascular ultrasound procedures
• Knowledge of isolation precautions

Description :

We are seeking an Ultrasound Tech to work the overnight shift from 12 AM to 8 AM on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

The position requires the ability to take a 1-hour lunch break.

The patient age group served is all ages.

The staffing ratio for nights is 1 tech to 5 patients.

There are no rotating shifts, and provider support is available.

Required skills include conducting abdominal, pelvic, and vascular ultrasound procedures.

Experience in neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient care is necessary.

Teaching hospital experience and community hospital experience are preferred.

The facility accepts first-time travelers.

No pre-approved time off is included per contract.

Candidates must complete EKG testing within 72 hours of signing for certain units.

Two managerial references are required, and a hard copy of the license or tech certification is mandatory.

Background policies will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
