Community Marketing Events Specialist I
is responsible for the successful execution of community events the company endorses and supports. This role works with the Community Events Marketing Manager to manage the alignment between the business and community event. This role is part of the Marketing or Sales team.
Here's more of what you will do :
Manages the details, logistics and execution of community events in support of properly connecting Andrews to the community and event purpose.
Utilizes the HelloSponsor event management platform to update event details and recap events, with a focus on increasing ROI through proactive planning.
Provides onsite event support as needed for any Hometown event.
Ensures TABC and OSHA regulations are followed.
Coordinates Andrews' representatives and event participants; communicates specific aspects of the event.
Coordinates scheduling requirements with Concessions and support teams to ensure successful event execution.
Performs post-event evaluations to evaluate the representation of Andrews' and to ensure each event met / exceeded Andrews' standards.
Continually develops understanding of our business and event / marketing best practices to grow skill set and drive professional execution of company events.
Collaborates with the Community Events Marketing Manager to create and maintain strong relationships with civic leaders in each hometown.
Responsible for identifying opportunities for Andrews Distributing to strategically partner with community organizations to elevate our presence within each hometown.
Networks with community leaders and organizations to build relationships within each hometown for the company.
Communicates product, POS materials and support needs with Andrews' teams to ensure proper event planning and support; product, signage, tap handles, tent frames / covers, cups, etc.
Stays abreast of current portfolio and Model Market concepts to ensure product and promotion alignment.
Keeps Andrews' teams informed and up-to-date on upcoming event execution needed.

Here's what you must have to be considered for this role :
High School Graduate or Equivalent Certificate
Proven Interpersonal and Communication Skills
Advanced Planning, Organization and Communication Skills
Advanced MS Office and Technical Skills
Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced and Changing Environment
Here's what we hope you have :
College Degree in Marketing, Sales or Other Related Field
Previous Sales or POS Management Experience
Current / Valid Texas Driver's License
Physical Requirements & Essential Functions
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to pull / push a load up to 55 lbs.
Requires heavy and repetitive lifting / placement of products up to 55 lbs.
Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns / pivots frequently throughout duration of workday.
Must tolerate working in an environment with inside / outside ambient / extreme temperatures.
Must be able to work in noisy and crowded environments.
Ability to operate facility equipment required for role.
Ability to use a personal computer for tasks such as communicating via email, preparing reports and other forms of documentation using company and industry software.
Ability to speak, hear, and see is required to communicate with employees, and to operate computers and office machinery.
Hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation skills are necessary to operate computers and various facility machinery and equipment.
Driving is required during the workday.
Ability to perform job functions in compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety policies and best practices.
Must be able to maintain a current / valid driver's license.
Must maintain regular and punctual attendance.
