BridgeTower Media is seeking an Editor / Reporter to work with our editorial team and assist with projects and news coverage. Organizationally, we are making a sincere effort to create an equitable, welcoming, and inclusive culture. This is a remote role but must be based in the State of North Carolina.
Duties + Responsibilities :
- Work with editorial team members, freelance contributors and production team on producing insightful news coverage for our audiences
- Participate in a multimedia newsroom providing essential niche content across platforms, including the website, email newsletters, social media and print
- Edit, write and post stories to ensure essential digital content daily
- Oversee production of print publication and assist in production of daily news website
- Assist with social media and newsletters
- Write for and edit print publication
- Generate story ideas for daily news, enterprise stories and print stories
