Assistant Manager

Being an assistant manager at a SONIC Drive-In restaurant is the cherry on top of a Strawberry Banana Split Molten Cake Sundae. You’ll assist the drive-in restaurant’s General Manager in managing drive-in operations. You will also be involved in training and supporting other employees to ensure we provide quality food in a clean, safe and efficient manner. We want every guest to have an enjoyable dining experience every time they come to SONIC.

Responsibilities include :

  • Oversee the general operations of the assigned shift (managing labor cost, cost of goods, scheduling, and administrative work)
  • Train and coach team members.
  • Ensure that all tasks are completed and verified throughout the shift.
  • Deliver correct action to team members.
  • Stock shelves during delivery days.
  • Follow proper cash handling policies set forth by the company.
  • Ensure all employees are following all Federal and State regulations

    • Requirements :

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours
  • Bi - Lingual is helpful
