Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Job Posting : Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - School-Based Role near Bloomington, IL

We are looking for a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team near Bloomington, Illinois. This is a full-time, school-based role, focusing on an elementary and junior high caseload. You will work closely with a licensed occupational therapist to provide therapy and support to students, helping them develop essential life and learning skills.

Position Details :

  • Location : Near Bloomington, IL
  • Caseload / Population : Elementary and Junior High students
  • Assignment Period : Full school year
  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Hours : Full-time

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist the occupational therapist in delivering therapy services to students
  • Implement treatment plans designed to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
  • Provide support in both individual and group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure therapy goals are being met
  • Document student progress and municate updates to the occupational therapist and school team

    • Qualifications :

  • Illinois COTA certification required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy or relevant field
  • Experience in a school-based setting is preferred
  • Strong munication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team
