Demand Planner Production Planning And Control

You will be the Demand Planner Production Planning and Control for the Production Planning and Control team. Our team is responsible for coordinating inter-departmental activity and scheduling the movement of parts to ensure timely and efficient production. As the Demand Planner Production Planning and Control you will be responsible for orchestrating part flow, aligning schedules, and driving continuous improvement across the Orlando site. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

  • Coordinating inter-departmental activity with quality, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, and contracts administration.
  • Scheduling and expediting part movement through move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests.
  • Analyzing and resolving production scheduling issues while communicating with all production sites, including after-hours support.
  • Developing and implementing process-improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Traveling as needed to support site-wide operations and ensure seamless material flow.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry peers, a represented workforce and internal and external customers.
  • Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)
  • Must be able to work outside of the normal operating hours, as required
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance
  • Desired Skills :

  • Manufacturing Scheduling Experience
  • Data Analysis
  • Able to Understand and Interpret Engineering Drawings
  • SAP Experience
  • Supply Chain or Engineering background a plus
  • This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
