We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join our team in Troy, Michigan. This is a contract position that requires someone with strong attention to detail who can effectively manage human resources operations and contribute to a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and system implementation.
Responsibilities :
- Manage onboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
- Conduct light recruitment activities to support staffing needs.
- Provide assistance with employee relations, addressing concerns and fostering positive workplace communication.
- Oversee the setup of IT devices and remote access for employees as needed.
- Collaborate on the implementation and utilization of HR software systems.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other applicable standards.
- Process payroll in coordination with external payroll service providers.
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
- Support the organization in making informed and strategic HR decisions.
- Proven experience in human resources administration, including onboarding and recruitment.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and their implementation.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR best practices.
- Ability to work within HIPAA-regulated environments and ensure compliance.
- Experience with payroll coordination and external payroll systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with employees and management.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic and fast-paced work environments.
