Licensed Practical Nurse LPN or Registered Nurse RN - Overnight Shift

Our private duty nursing program is dedicated to providing medical services to individuals with intellectual disabilities while promoting independence, dignity and choice.\n\nSummary\n\nWe are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential nursing care for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges in home-based settings.\n\nSchedule\n\nThis is an overnight position, with shifts running 11PM - 7AM, seven day a week\n\nResponsibilities\n

• Administer medications and monitor clients' health status.\n
• Provide basic nursing care and support tailored to individual needs.\n
• Assist in the developing and implementing individualized care plans.\n
• Conduct assessments and document progress accurately.\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.\n
• Educate individuals and families on health management and wellness strategies.\n\nRequirements\n
• Current LPN license in the state of Virginia.\n
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.\n
• Strong understanding of medication administration protocols.\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.\n
• Experience with G-tube and GJ-tube medication administration is a plus.\n
