What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :

  • Lead the health practice and team to achieve strategic growth and distinction in the market
  • Serve as a strategic partner to clients, directing high-impact programs to meet their business goals
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships while growing business through leadership and strategic guidance
  • Identify and lead new business pitches to attract new clients and meet growth targets
  • Oversee team staffing and resourcing to ensure high-quality work for clients

    • What is Required (Qualifications) :

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in communications, ideally in both agency and in-house settings
  • Extensive experience leading strategic communication strategies within healthcare, medtech, health systems, pharma, and / or life sciences fields
  • Strong experience in pharma, biotech, and / or life sciences
  • Demonstrated experience in new business development, including outreach and proposal development
  • Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills

    • How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :

  • Track record of delivering standout creative communications campaigns within regulated markets
  • Experience setting up measurement programs to measure the ongoing ROI of communications activities
  • Innovative thinker with experience using data and insights to craft strategic campaigns
  • Significant experience providing communications counsel to executives and senior marketers
  • Experience in building, managing, mentoring, and coaching communications managers and specialists
