About The Position

Job Title : Ultrasound Tech

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour

Hours per Shift : 10 hours (07 : 00 - 17 : 30, Friday 5 : 30 - 15 : 30)

Experience : Minimum of 1 year required

License : South Carolina license preferred (or proof of application for pending license)

Certifications : BLS, ARRT (S) or ARDMS required

Must-Have :

• Experience with PACS and Portables
• Ability to perform procedures
• Capability to scan general abdominal, obstetrical, small parts, kidney, and vascular ultrasound

Description :

We are seeking an Ultrasound Tech to join our team.

The position involves performing inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room ultrasound cases.

Each technologist handles approximately 15 cases daily.

The tech will not float between service lines or sister facilities.

On-call requirements include weekend day rotations from 7 AM to 7 PM among staff.

The facility has a total of 286 staffed beds and is designated as a Level II Trauma center.

Working days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7 AM to 5 : 30 PM, and Friday from 5 : 30 AM to 3 : 30 PM.

Travelers must be prepared for assignments during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.

Staff members may be assigned to emergency response teams during this time.

All candidates must have experience with the required ultrasound procedures and possess the necessary certifications.

The facility prioritizes candidates with a South Carolina license.

Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application.

Candidates will not be cleared to start until their licenses are active.
