Job Description :

AMF is currently seeking an experienced and self-motivated Commodity Manager to develop and implement a long-term category strategy to maximize savings, quality, and delivery, while continuing to minimize risk. The Commodity manager will build and maintain relationships with suppliers and own the continuous improvement of the assigned Supply base. A strong candidate for this role should possess exceptional communication, above-average analytical skills, and significant experience working in a global organization. The ideal candidate will have strong tactical purchasing and negotiation experience, along with success in prior cross-functional operational roles.

Job Duties Include :

• Own / execute the category spend performance and strategy to achieve our annual savings target.
• Monitor monthly strategic actions and adjust approach as necessary to meet or exceed KPIs.
• Implement Supplier Agreements aligned with strategy and overall supply chain objectives.
• Develop robust process for ERP system implementation to control spend and supply base.
• Track our agreements for compliance, taking action to address any non-compliance issues with our suppliers and / or our organization.
• Drive our spend under management to target coverage of 85% or better.
• Manage and improve our quarterly business reviews (QBR) process with key suppliers.
• As needed, find and lead qualifications of additional suppliers in order to meet risk objectives.
• On occasion, leverage supplier relationships to remedy an execution issue.
