Participant Intake Volunteer Opportunities (18+)!

Help us create the welcoming environment needed to make sure our neighbors feel comfortable while visiting VEAP! Our opportunities do not require experience, include training, and are of course fun!

Available Opportunities :

• Phone Intake : Help connect participants to our services by setting up food appointments over the phone as well as providing basic VEAP information and services referrals.
• Lobby Intake : Assist participants who are receiving food assistance with check-in and help ensure they have a positive experience while at VEAP!
• Drive Thru Intake : Greet participants in their vehicles and assist them with check-in outside of the VEAP building on Fridays!

VEAP is open Monday - Friday from 8 - 5 p.m. Shifts are on-site and are typically 3-4 hours in length. All volunteers ages 18 or older must complete a volunteer orientation as well as a criminal background check prior to volunteering.
