Director Of Operational Excellence (Executive Support To CEO)

Position Summary

We are seeking a licensed RN to serve as Director of Operational Excellence, directly supporting our CEO. In this high-impact role, you will evaluate organizational performance, analyze key data, ensure compliance, and drive improvement across multiple senior living communities. This position requires regular travel to communities and a strong ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze organizational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Serve as an internal consultant to leadership teams, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Oversee compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess quality, culture, and operational standards.
  • Monitor KPIs across communities and develop improvement action plans.
  • Partner with the CEO and leadership team to embed Civitas' culture and values throughout all operations.

What We're Looking For

  • Must be a licensed RN (Registered Nurse) or LNHA (Licensed Nursing Home Administrator).
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 7+ years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, compliance, or performance improvement.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Business Intelligence Platforms and project management tools (e.g. Smartsheet).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable with up to 25% travel and working in community-based senior living environments.
