The Catering Sales Manager develops strong client relationships while driving catering sales and ensuring flawless planning and execution of meetings, weddings, and social events. This role crafts tailored proposals, collaborates with hotel teams, and uses both creative and traditional marketing to grow business and foster repeat clients. Highly organized and detail-oriented, the manager knows that small touches create the biggest impact.

Requested Tasks :

  • Drive catering sales by proactively prospecting, networking, and securing new business to meet revenue goals.
  • Develop detailed proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs) that accurately capture client requirements.
  • Collaborate with culinary, banquet, and operations teams to create menus, floor plans, and event timelines.
  • Serve as the primary client contact from inquiry through post-event follow-up, ensuring seamless planning and flawless execution.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, wedding planners, and community partners.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, event details, and billing while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.

Requested Capabilities

  • 3–5 years of catering sales or event management experience in a hotel, resort, or upscale venue.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed catering revenue goals while managing multiple events simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Delphi, Marriott CI / TY, or similar).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
