The CDM Smith position is for a Senior IT Asset Management Specialist to lead and manage all aspects of the software lifecycle, including sourcing, procurement, planning, budgeting, compliance, and auditing. In this role, you'll shape how the organization sources, manages, and optimizes IT software and services. You'll work with vendors, negotiate contracts that deliver value and performance, and ensure teams have the technology they need to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Drive vendor partnerships : Source quotes, evaluate proposals, negotiate agreements, and place purchase orders for a wide range of IT software and services.
• Maintain and update IT asset management databases, procurement tools, and compliance systems to ensure accurate, real-time visibility.
• Forecast and optimize costs : Analyze trends, anticipate future IT needs, and develop budget forecasts; prepare reports and perform analysis to identify savings and improvements.
• Provide insights : Report on utilization, explain budget variances, and present forecasts to key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance & reliability : Conduct audits on software licenses, take corrective actions, and manage renewals to secure best pricing and service levels.
• Lead and mentor : Organize departmental projects, delegate tasks, evaluate outcomes, and train team members.
• Explore and recommend : Research emerging IT products and services, meet with vendors, evaluate offerings, and implement continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Make an impact : Work across teams to ensure technology investments deliver strong ROI and align with organizational goals.
• Perform other duties as required.

Pay Range

Minimum : $77,667

Maximum : $128,128

Additional Compensation

All bonuses are discretionary and may or may not apply.

Hybrid Work Options may be considered for the successful candidate.
