Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of recent MRI experience and ARRT certification to perform advanced neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal imaging.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital MRI department supporting both inpatient and outpatient imagingAverage daily caseload of 35–40 casesPatient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patientsExam types include neuro, abdominal, musculoskeletal, pelvis, chest, brain, face / neck, hip, knee, and shoulder imagingSpecial procedures include fusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, ADC mapping, subtraction, MIP, MRP, perfusion, spectroscopy, spin echo, surface coils, T1 & T2 weighted imaging, and spine imaging (cervical, lumbar, thoracic)Department uses Siemens MRI equipment and PACS; Epic electronic documentationDay shift schedule : Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM, with every third weekend requiredDuties include conducting advanced MRI scans, post-processing, and working with multidisciplinary teamsAll fingerprints must be completed promptly in accordance with Ohio requirementsLocals are accepted at the same pay rateFormer employees are eligible if 6 months have elapsed since prior employmentCurrent employees at any Ohio State University hospital location are not eligibleRTO (time off) requests must be included at submissionScrub requirements will be outlined by the departmentRequirements
Minimum of 2 years recent MRI experience requiredActive ARRT and BLS certifications requiredValid Ohio state license required if applicableExperience in adult ICU, adult outpatient, and pediatric acute care settings is requiredProficiency with Siemens MRI systems, PACS, and Epic EMR preferredMust provide 2 professional references, one from a supervisor or managerEducation must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited programBenefits
