Cultivation Technician

Position Description :

The position of Cultivation Technician will play a crucial role in the cultivation and maintenance of cannabis plants. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure plant maintenance tasks / cleanings are done according to Ilera's SOPs. Perform daily tasks related to plant care, including watering, pruning, and transplanting cannabis plants.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Follows and adheres to all Safety procedures and protocols
• Maintenance and pruning of plants
• Working with the Cultivation Manager and supervisors to ensure proper care of the plants
• Ensures proper housekeeping and cleaning practices are handled daily according to SOPs
• Adheres to regulatory requirements of LDH daily (e.g., labeling, tagging and daily tracking charts, etc.)
• Adheres to all security protocols and mandates of LDH
• Able to push, pull or lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Capable of sitting, standing, bending, squatting and / or walking for long hours at a time
• Ensure good communication between team members
• Perform other duties as needed / or required

Background Check Requirement :

As a condition of employment, a complete background investigation will be conducted based on the laws of Louisiana and the Louisiana Department of Health rules for therapeutic marijuana employment.
