These patients often include those recovering from surgery, managing chronic illnesses, or stabilizing after acute medical events. €‹ Key Responsibilities : \nPatient Monitoring : Continuously assess and monitor patients with complex medical conditions, such as cardiac, respiratory, and post-surgical cases, ensuring timely detection of any changes in their health status. €‹\nMedical Interventions : Administer medications, assist with bedside procedures, and utilize advanced technologies like telemetry monitoring to provide comprehensive care. €‹\nCare Planning : Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes. €‹\nPatient Education : Educate patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and post-discharge care to promote long-term health and prevent readmissions.\nHow you'll contribute You'll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. Additional requirements include : Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
