Senior Buyer

A company is looking for a Sourcing Strategist / Senior Buyer to assist in sourcing and purchasing materials while improving procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

Interact with plant managers to plan and create purchase orders for raw and packaging materials

Monitor inbound raw material movements and resolve material flow deviations and discrepancies

Assist in researching and evaluating new suppliers, bids, costs, and quality

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in purchasing and supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing

Experience with ERP systems and skilled in Material Management modules

Proficiency in Excel

APICS - CPIM or equivalent certification preferred

BS in Supply Chain, Business, or a similar degree required
