We are seeking top tier talent to join our pioneering team and propel us towards our destination. You will be joining a team of innovative product, tech, and design leaders that tirelessly seek to question the status quo. As a Capital One Manager, Product Marketing, Data Security, you'll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of building this business and bring these tools to market.

This marketer will play a critical role in executing marketing strategies and supporting product launches for our cloud-based data security solutions. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective messaging, customer engagement, and sales enablement.

The product marketing charter is to make our data security solutions successful in the market and with customers. They support the GTM strategy by developing product content, conducting market research, and driving customer awareness. Their insights help shape product positioning and ensure that marketing efforts align with customer needs.

What you'll do

Be the subject matter expert on key product areas, learning the technical and market landscape.

Contribute to Go-To-Market plans and product releases, supporting execution and coordination.

Assist in crafting product messaging and positioning to resonate with different customer segments.

Produce external-facing content, including website copy, blog posts, product datasheets, and customer stories, among others.

Keep a pulse on the market : conduct competitive intelligence and market research to inform strategy.

Collaborate with external organizations and industry influencers for co-marketing opportunities.

Participate in the product / customer feedback loop to capture insights and improve messaging.

Serve as an exemplary writer with the ability to create clear, concise, and polished marketing copy.

Basic Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in product marketing

At least 2 years of marketing experience in B2B data security, cloud or SaaS industry

Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

4+ years of experience conducting research and translating insights into actionable marketing strategies.

4+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams to support product launches and campaigns.

Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Remote (Regardless of Location) : $132,800 - $151,600 for Manager, Marketing Richmond, VA : $132,800 - $151,600 for Manager, Marketing

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
