Overview

The City of Redwood Falls is seeking a Library Director with a Master of Library Science degree preferred or B.A. / B.S. in Library Science or related field with preferably 3-5 years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in a library or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and administer a budget.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare clear, detailed reports.
  • Train and supervise others and maintain an effective working relationship with staff, the public and other governmental agencies.

Qualifications

  • Flexible schedule and strong customer service skills.
  • Experience with an automated library system.
  • Skills in electronic and on-line searching.
  • Considerable knowledge of a wide variety of books and authors.

    • Salary

    Salary range is $70,262.00 / year to $92,373.00 / year with an excellent benefit package.
