Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting with at least 1 year of experience and a WI PT license or eligibility.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Outpatient physical therapy department
  • Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM
  • 13-week contract assignment with 40 hours per week
  • Candidates may be required to float within the hospital as needed
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Candidates cannot reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility
  • Returning employees must have at least a one-year break after working 52 weeks as a traveler
  • A COVID-19 vaccine is not required for this position
  • Compliance modules and orientation to be completed during onboarding
  • Lab work and drug screening appointments must be completed within 48 hours of signing
  • Only one holiday requested off will be accepted if multiple holidays fall during the assignment

  • Current or pending WI Physical Therapist license required if applicable
  • Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient physical therapy experience
  • BLS certification required, must be from AHA
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy required
  • Two professional references required, one from a supervisor
  • Resume, transcript or diploma, education verification, and three references (two peers and one department chair with names and emails) must be submitted within one week of signing
