Job Overview
The Safety Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment by implementing and overseeing safety programs and procedures.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences
- Provide safety training and development programs for employees
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory bodies
- Maintain records of all safety-related activities including report writing
- Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and implement solutions
Qualifications
OSHA 500 or OSHA 510Proven experience in EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) managementCertification in First Aid / CPR preferredFamiliarity with root cause analysis techniquesStrong understanding of OSHA regulationsExcellent communication skills for training development and collaboration with teamsJob Types : Full-time, Temporary
Pay : $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Per Diem Available
