job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting staff, visitors, and patients as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence. Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control and visitor management, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas. Work closely with facility staff to support a welcoming environment while maintaining compliance with all applicable procedures and protocols. Document all security-related incidents, activities, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
