Mobile Engineer / HVAC Technician
Location : Des Moines, Iowa
Job Type : Contract, 12 months
Primary Function :
Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility systems across multiple locations, with expertise in one core area (e.g., Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing) and working knowledge of others.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain and repair mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire / life safety, and control systems.
- Travel between facilities to ensure operational integrity.
- Perform preventive maintenance and manage inventory and vendor services.
- Clean, inspect, calibrate, and replace HVAC components.
- Record equipment readings and make necessary adjustments.
- Ensure safe handling of hazardous materials and maintain a clean work environment.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure safety compliance.
