Electronics Engineering Technician III

Location : Milpitas, CA (100% Onsite)

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Duration : 6-month assignment (with potential for extension)

Pay : $30-40 / hour

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineering Technician III to support a special project within an advanced engineering and manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and assembly of test systems and equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work hands-on with innovative technologies and collaborate with a team of skilled engineers and technicians.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform plant-wide electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems and equipment.
  • Analyze and interpret complex circuits, wiring diagrams, and schematics to install, adjust, calibrate, and modify electronic devices and systems.
  • Build and assemble test systems and specialized equipment from predefined part lists.
  • Debug and validate test equipment during assembly, including firmware and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Conduct mechanical and electrical assembly work, ensuring systems meet performance and safety standards.
  • Maintain and install wiring, cables, and related infrastructure.
  • Participate in project and team meetings to support updates, continuous improvement, and technical collaboration.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5–7+ years of hands-on experience as an Electronics Engineering Technician or in a related engineering support role.
  • Proficiency with test programs , firmware , and debugging electronic test systems .
  • Strong background in mechanical assembly , computer builds , and troubleshooting of electronic components.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and system documentation.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Education

  • High school diploma required ; technical or higher education preferred but not mandatory.
