As a Security Officer - Retail Access Control in Baytown TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls and more.

As a Security Officer assigned to an access control post in a dynamic retail distribution environment you will play a vital role in helping to deter incidents and maintaining a secure atmosphere for employees and visitors. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry and exit points conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout the location to provide exceptional customer service. Day Time Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate healthcare and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients at the location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and verify credentials of employees visitors and vendors.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents and suspicious activity according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients visitors and team members while upholding Allied Universal standards.
  • Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring for any irregularities in the retail distribution environment.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
