    Position Summary

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiting Specialist to join our team at Summit 7 Systems, LLC. In this role, you'll recruit cloud security professionals with expertise in Microsoft platforms such as Azure, Entra, and SharePoint, while also supporting hiring for non-technical roles across the organization. This is an ideal role for a recruiter with 2-4 years of experience in technical hiring who's ready to specialize in a mission-driven sector, with a clear growth path supported by mentorship from senior leaders.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruitment for technical and non-technical roles in a fast-paced, compliance-driven Managed Services environment
  • Identify and engage passive candidates through creative sourcing techniques including LinkedIn sourcing, Boolean searches, referrals, and niche job boards
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and technical leads to deeply understand role requirements related to Microsoft technologies and information technology resources employed by Summit 7
  • Maintain compliance in hiring and recordkeeping practices in line with Summit 7's policies and federal contractor guidelines
  • Use ATS tools to maintain talent pipelines, track key recruiting metrics, and improve hiring strategies and process
  • Stay informed of trends in cybersecurity and federal compliance hiring, especially as they relate to CMMC readiness and Microsoft security technologies
  • Assist in creating compelling job descriptions and postings that reflect both role requirements and the organization's mission in securing the Defense Industrial Base (DIB)
  • Coordinate, plan, and schedule interviews based on hiring manager schedules within Outlook calendars
  • Job Specifications

    Required

  • 2-4 years of experience recruiting for technical roles-ideally in cybersecurity or adjacent fields-using platforms like Dice, ClearanceJobs, and LinkedIn
  • Superior organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and cloud apps
  • Optional / Desired

  • Familiarity with or a strong interest in recruiting for roles within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB), particularly those aligned with CMMC and federal cybersecurity compliance standards.
  • Experience with ApplicantPro, iSolved Hire, or similar applicant tracking systems (ATS)
