Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the uping school year in a district located approximately 20 minutes southeast of Cleveland, OH. The focus is on Intervention Specialists, with multiple openings, particularly for middle school levels. Opportunities exist in both self-contained and inclusion classroom settings, providing a range of teaching experiences to suit your expertise and preferences.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver specialized instruction tailored to meet the unique learning needs of students with disabilities.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Support students in both self-contained and inclusive classroom settings to promote academic and social development.
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary.
Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.

Qualifications and Experience :

Valid Special Education teaching certification with appropriate licensure for the state of Ohio.

Experience working with middle school students preferred but not required.

Ability to manage classrooms in self-contained and inclusion environments.
