Who Will Let The Dog Out? (WWLDO) is seeking volunteer Social Media Content Creators to contribute to our mission of raising awareness and resources for homeless dogs and the heroes who fight for them.
What we do
- ADVOCATE through journalism, photography and film
- ASSIST shelters / rescues with grants and other resources
- INVITE everyone to be part of the solution
- NETWORK to find solutions and save more dogs lives
- We focus on and visit rural shelters in the United States.
- Produced an award winning short documentary, Amber’s Halfway Home, about a one woman single handedly rescues thousands of dogs in Memphis TN
Who Will Let The Dog Out? (WWLDO) is seeking volunteer Social Media Content Creators to contribute to our mission of raising awareness and resources for homeless dogs and the heroes who fight for them. Social Media Content Creators play a crucial role in driving user engagement and growth.
Position Responsibilities
Produces high-quality, original content for social media platforms, including but not limited to text, images, videos, and infographics; platforms may include Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and TwitterCollaborates with photographers and videographers to create visually appealing and shareable contentStays up to date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to optimize content performanceQualifications
Ability to support WWLDO’s mission of raising awareness and resources for homeless dogs and the heroes who fight for them in a cordial mannerAbility to work independently and with minimal support from WWLDO staffProficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and social media management toolsStrong written and verbal communication skills with an excellent understanding of WWLDO’s voice and toneCreative thinking with the ability to generate unique and engaging content ideasBasic graphic design and photo / video editing skillsStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlinesKeeps abreast of the latest social media trends, best practices, and platform updatesInternet accessMust reside within the United StatesSeniority level
