Tempur Sealy is seeking an experienced, team-oriented individual for our Denver team as a Manufacturing Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the plant's Quality Program to ensure products meet internal quality standards, including assembly processes, inspections, and raw materials.Develop, implement, and maintain quality and continuous improvement systems, transforming traditional quality practices into a proactive, integrated approach.Ensure standard operating procedures are maintained and conformed to during assembly operations.Manage the implementation of new processes, procedures, and equipment related to new products.Coordinate with other plants to develop and standardize procedures for assembly and quality processes.Develop and improve procedures using lean tools, documenting them as organizational standards.Verify equipment capability to meet quality standards and ensure consistent results.Train personnel on standard procedures, inspection techniques, and process audits.Validate defect tracking for work-in-process, finished goods, and rejected items.Conduct periodic audits of products, records, and adherence to bills of material.Recommend corrective actions to management.Perform statistical analysis to identify root causes of defects and facilitate problem-solving techniques.Additional Information
