Do you love to work outside and have a passion for repairing things? We have an opening for a Roadside Ditch Maintenance & Excavation Skilled Trades Worker- Stormwater. This position will be doing maintenance, construction, and repair of stormwater conveyance systems and road right-of-way systems. Join our team and apply today!

Responsibilities include :

• Perform maintenance on all county open stormwater conveyance systems and their appurtenances.
• Restore road right-of-ways and properties relating to stormwater maintenance and repairs.
• Operate specialized equipment, such as vacuum / jet combination trucks, dump truck, Gradall, backhoes, excavators, arm mowers, and other related equipment required to maintain and repair stormwater conveyance systems and road right-of-way maintenance / construction.
• Respond to customer complaints relating to stormwater systems, including pipeline, canal, ditch blockages, and erosion control. Issues on and around the road right of way, water quality concerns, and stormwater flow concerns.
• Complete and submit work orders relating to all work performed in a professional and timely fashion.

Work Hours : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 a.m. - 3 : 30 p.m.
