We are seeking an Optical Engineer in our Broomfield, CO Location.

All applicants for placement in safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test.

Key Responsibilities :

• Build and characterize complex, high precision optical sub-assemblies, then integrate these into higher level systems and maintain them
• Trouble shoot as well as conduct failure analysis of optical / opto-mechanical systems to improve process and design
• Perform alignment, integration and testing of prototype and proof of concept systems, involving lasers, optics, fibers, electronics, software, and mechanical sub-assemblies
• You will be expected to analyze data to draw conclusions
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Scientists to deliver state-of-the-art optics solution
• Up to 10% travel

The pay range for this role is $81,000 $101,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidates skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.
