Senior Accountant - Accounting - Full Time - 8 Hour - Days

Job Description :

The Foundation Accountant is responsible for ensuring the organization complies with grant awards and generally accepted accounting principles. The role also ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, allocating, reconciling, consolidating, and entering transactions. Analyzes financial information and summarizes financial status. The role also monitors restricted funds, and ensures expenditures are consistently assigned with related grants. The position supports the Foundation by working with organizational leadership to align funding and program strategies to fulfill the mission of the organization.

Education

Associate's degree - Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field - Preferred

Experience

Must have a minimum of four years of full-time or equivalent work experience with financial statements, foundations, and grants;

Experience in Financial Edge NXT or similar fun accounting software and endowment management software - Preferred

Must have accounting experience in a nonprofit organization

Work Shift :

Exempt Days (Mon-Fri) (United States of America)

Pay Range : $43.90 - $65.85

Hourly

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated / relevant experience and / or licensure.

Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area .

Note : Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.
