Travel Hospital (Operations) Pharmacist
Location : Alabama
Position : Operations Pharmacist
Schedule : 7-on / 7-off schedule (Mon - Sun)
Evening Shifts : 4 : 00 PM 3 : 00 AM
Role Overview :
As the main Operations Pharmacist, you will manage inpatient pharmacy operations independently. This role does not require emergency or ER response duties. You will also provide remote overnight coverage for orders at a satellite facility.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead hospital pharmacy operations during assigned shifts
- Independently triage medication orders and work closely with pharmacy technicians
- Collaborate effectively with medical providers and pharmacy staff
- Support sterile pounding verification
- Utilize Cerner EMR, Omnicell
Requirements :
Minimum 2+ years of hospital pharmacist experienceValid Alabama Pharmacist License at time of interview or in process with license in hand before startingStrong independent worker with excellent triaging skills and a team-player attitudeNICU experience preferred but not requiredSupport & Team Environment :
