Life Underwriter

This role is crucial in ensuring the financial security of our clients by accurately assessing risks and determining appropriate premium rates for new and existing policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in risk assessment methodologies, with a commitment to maintaining the integrity and values of AAA Life Insurance Company. Evaluate insurance applications and determine coverage amounts and premiums based on risk assessment. Interact with agents and potential clients to gather additional information and explain underwriting decisions. Utilize actuarial data and underwriting software to analyze the risk profile of clients. Stay up-to-date with underwriting rules and compliances, as well as developments in the insurance field. Review existing policies and coverage as part of a routine risk reassessment. Collaborate with members of the underwriting team and other departments to optimize underwriting processes. Handle and resolve complex client inquiries regarding insurance policy and underwriting decisions.
