Flux Resources is seeking a Water and Environmental Market Leader to join one of our clients as a direct full-time employee. Opportunities with this position are diverse and include a blend of business development and management. Key competencies and marks of success in this Market Leader position include the following :

Excels at networking, negotiating, partnering, and strategic and critical thinking

Able to set and communicate long-term strategies as well as short-term plans and priorities

Highly skilled at measuring risks, rewards and costs

Exceptional business and financial acumen.

This position can be located in Seattle, Bellevue, Everett, Woodinville, Tacoma or Olympia.

Responsibilities :

Serve as the Puget Sound Region WEBU Market Leader and as a WEBU Senior Leader - with primary focus on business development and sales to help build and grow the existing WEBU practice areas of Water / Wastewater Infrastructure, Surface Water Resources and Environmental Planning and Compliance in Washington.

Work in a highly flexible, team-oriented environment with individual and group responsibilities for business development, sales, financial performance and internal and external client satisfaction, deliverables and schedules.

Grow the WEBU staff presence in Washington with eventual opportunity to manage, coach, and mentor staff in professional, technical, and business development efforts.

Develop and execute market strategy with Client Team Leaders and Senior Leaders in the Region

Determine the strategic allocation of business development resources to achieve Regional sales and revenue goals

Champion visibility and branding within the Region

Serve as Principal-In-Charge or Project Manager with responsibility for all aspects of project development and delivery, including scoping, budgeting, contract negotiations, and project execution.

Serve as a Client Leader (with specific / identified Clients) with business development, client management and client profitability goals.

Engage in recruiting and retention efforts to ensure hires the best possible talent and supports processes that encourage staff longevity

Serve as a project pursuit champion, when applicable and assist in preparing proposals and participating in interviews

Increase company visibility in Washington through active involvement, presentations and leadership positions with key industry organizations and related conferences

Work with the other senior leaders on strategic planning activities

Work with the other senior leaders to identify capital investments, strategic alliances, key hires, acquisitions and growth opportunities

  • Licensure, Certification and Education Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, Environmental Studies / Sciences or related field

Minimum 15 years of experience with at least 10 years as a business development or group leader

Proven track record of Water and Environment project wins in Washington

Project management experience with documented success in project delivery for Water and Environment clients in Washington

Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills

Potential salary range for this position is $185,000+ depending on experience and location
