Overview
Position Overview : We are seeking an energetic and motivated cryostat technician to support our technical operations. This role will report directly to our CTO and handle cryostat maintenance, operation, and functionality.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain cryostat systems
- Prepare and integrate electronics for low temperature testing
- Maintain RF wiring, electronics, and test equipment for use with cryostat
- Perform low temperature microwave calibration and testing
- Perform vacuum pumping and leak detection when needed
Qualifications
Hands-on experience with cryostats and dilution refrigeration systemsStrong mechanical skills for assembling cryostats and vacuum systemsAbility to read and create wiring diagrams, equipment schematics, and experimental protocolsKnowledge of vacuum technology, cryogenic safety, and high-pressure gas handlingPreferred Skills
Familiarity with VNAs spectrum analyzers, and microwave calibrationExperience with superconducting quantum devices (qubits, amplifiers, SQUIDs, etc.)Experience with thermal modeling and heat load managementExperience with parametric devicesSeniority level
