Overview
Reports to : Building Principal / Athletic Director
Supervises : 45 student athletes
Job Goal
To support the head coach and to provide a learning environment for athletes to improve their skills.
Performance Responsibilities
- Coach individual student athletes in the skills necessary for excellence in chosen sport.
- Assist head coach in planning and scheduling practices in season.
- Assist head coach in maintaining necessary paperwork.
- Enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times and establish and oversee penalties for breach of such standards by individual students.
- Assist head coach in organizing clinics and camps when appropriate.
- Assist, organize and oversee off-season conditioning.
- Attend / participate in clinics to enhance knowledge and improve program.
