job_description.job_card.job_descriptionTwo years of experience installing, programming, and troubleshooting irrigation controllers Must be able to operate or use trenching and shovel to prepare trenches Must have knowledge of PVC installation and techniques Work in a safe, skillful, and timely manner Understand and use proper safety procedures Strong physical fitness Ability to work independently and as part of a team Driver's license required Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions Able to lift 50 lbs. Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and maintenance irrigation equipment including sprinklers, water lines, and suction valves. The ideal candidate will be safe, hardworking, reliable, and have a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Assists field personnel with diagnosing and troubleshooting irrigation-related problems
- Inventory supplies and maintains adequate on-hand supplies
- Maintains, repairs and troubleshoots small size pipes and types of control valves
- Record hours worked and parts used in Aspire software
- Repairs irrigation mainlines from 1" to 3" in size, using components and techniques established by the industry
- Operate a variety of landscaping tools and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and regulations
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Be willing to stay at a job site after hours to ensure the job is completed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
