SUMMARY
SNAP®, which stands for Stop Now and Plan, is an evidence-based cognitive behavioral model that provides a framework for teaching children struggling with behavior issues, and their parents, effective emotional regulation, self-control, and problem-solving skills.
The primary goal of SNAP is to help children to stop and think before they act and keep them in school and out of trouble.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree and / or five years’ experience working in social service, human service, economic, health or rehabilitative, or youth / child development field.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as recruitment and retention plans, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients or employees of an organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
