Join to apply for the Information Technology Specialist role at United States Air Force

Technology is integral to our defense, requiring adherence to the highest standards and readiness at all times. Client Systems Operations specialists ensure the software and hardware behind air and ground operations function properly, including repairing, troubleshooting, and installing necessary programs to complete missions when needed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide information technology support.
  • Install and configure software systems and applications.
  • Report and correct security incidents.
  • Establish preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance procedures.

    • Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma, GED with 15 college credits or GED
  • Knowledge of IT fundamentals
  • Possession of a valid state driver's license to operate government motor vehicles
  • Completion of 8.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
  • Must be between the ages of 17 and 39
