Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital providing CT services for ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient populations Average of 130 CT studies performed daily, with increased volume during weekdays CT guided invasive procedures and Cardiac CT imaging performed on day shift, 7 days a week Night shifts available : 8 : 00 PM - 8 : 30 AM Friday through Sunday and 10 : 00 PM - 8 : 30 AM Monday through Thursday On-call required 2 to 3 shifts per month No floating required Uses EPIC EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, and Philips iSite PACS CT scanners include Siemens Definition - AS 40, Siemens Force, and Siemens Edge with Bayer / Medrad Power Injectors Role includes performing CT guided invasive procedures and occasional cases with anesthesia support Travelers must live at least 50 miles away from their home unit Administrative and departmental orientation provided, ranging from one day up to one week as needed 75% holiday coverage required Black scrubs required Parking is free in surface lots and parking decks First-time travelers will be considered RTO requires approval by Resource Team Requirements Minimum of 2 years of recent CT experience required ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT required Current BLS certification required Ability to start peripheral IVs and perform venous and arterial phase, multi-phase, stroke / perfusion imaging, and colorectal studies License required if applicable TeraRecon knowledge preferred but not required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-614001.
