Overview :

  • Active Marin Physical Therapy is now hiring a Physical Therapist for an Outpatient Orthopedics position in Mill Valley, CA.
  • Work in a sun filled clinic with 2,500 sq ft with open gym and state-of-the-art equipment including Pilates, Rogue Squat rack and Kaiser pneumatic cable system.
  • Work with a close-knit and experienced group of 6+PTs in a fun environment and wellness-centric local community.
  • Full-time is preferred, up to 40 hours per week are available.
  • Part-time candidates with a minimum of 24 hours and 3 days of availability will also be considered.
  • PRN / Per Diem is also available.
  • The ideal candidate should be personable with good communication skills.
  • New grad Physical Therapists will be supported and mentored.

Caseload / Patient Population :

  • The Physical Therapist hired will work in a dynamic outpatient orthopedic setting to treat patients of all ages for a general orthopedic caseload with some focus on sports medicine and pediatrics.
  • Specialization opportunities are available in TMD, vestibular rehab, advanced manual techniques, sport-specific therapy, adolescent sports rehab, Pilates-based rehabilitation, and injury prevention.

  • Full-time PTs should expect to treat 8-10 patients if working an 8 hour day.

    • Holistic patient care is 1 :

  • 1 with 45 minute treatment sessions.
  • Added time for documentation is allotted.

    • Compensation and Benefits :

  • The compensation for a full-time position ranges from $95,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Active Marin Physical Therapy offers benefits that include health, vision, dental, disability, PTO, an IRA with a 3% match, continuing education, travel, and tuition reimbursement.

    • Work Schedule :

  • The clinic hours are : Monday-Friday 7 : 30a to 7 : 30p, Saturday 9a to 5p.
  • The schedule is flexible based on the needs of the candidate hired.

    • Job Requirements :

  • Eligible for CA state licensure as a Physical Therapist. 1 year of outpatient orthopedics experience is preferred, but not required.
  • New grad PTs will be supported and mentored.
  • Full-time is preferred, 40 hours per week are available.
  • Part-time candidates with 24 hours and 3 weekdays of availability will also be considered.
