Start ASAP! ⏱️ Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU Location : 900 23rd Street NW, Washington, DC 20037 Shift : 8-Hour Day Shift (7 AM – 3 PM, Monday–Friday) Duration : 13 Weeks (Approx. 720 total hours, 40 hours per week) Req ID : UHSJP00001463 Job Description Key Responsibilities : Monitor patients’ recovery and consciousness levels post-anesthesia. Obtain and record vital signs and report changes to the medical team. Manage and treat pain, nausea, and other postoperative symptoms. Administer medications as prescribed. Observe for side effects or complications related to anesthesia. Update EMR, maintain accurate patient files, and document care activities. Educate patients and families regarding postoperative care and recovery instructions. ⚙️ Requirements & Qualifications Experience : Minimum 2 years ICU experience (required). Recent PACU / Preop experience (required). Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from the facility. Not suitable for Surgicenter experience — candidates should be experienced in handling Level I Trauma Center patient complexity.
